Refund Policy
Digital Goods Notice
Due to the immediate access nature of digital virtual goods (Karma) and Pro subscriptions on the Built In Public platform, we maintain a strict policy regarding refunds.
1. Karma (Virtual Tokens)
Karma tokens are credited to your account instantly upon successful payment. Because these tokens are immediately available for use within the platform's ecosystem:
- All sales of Karma are final and non-refundable.
- Unused Karma cannot be exchanged for cash or legal tender.
- If an account is terminated due to terms of service violations, all associated Karma is forfeited without refund.
2. Membership Subscriptions (Pro Tier)
Pro subscriptions provide immediate access to premium features (Showroom listing, advanced analytics, etc.).
- You may cancel your subscription at any time via your account settings.
- Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing cycle.
- We do not offer prorated refunds for mid-cycle cancellations.
3. Technical Errors
In the rare event of a technical failure (e.g., being charged multiple times for a single order, or Karma not being credited after a confirmed payment), we will issue a full refund or credit the missing Karma. Please contact us within 72 hours of the transaction.
4. Chargebacks
Fraudulent chargebacks will result in the immediate and permanent suspension of your account and the removal of all your projects from the Showroom.
